Launched on July 6, 2023, Threads was the newest addition to Meta Platforms' Family of Apps. The app needed approximately six days to reach 150 million downloads, becoming the fastest to achieve such a result as of July 12, 2023. In comparison, mobile gaming apps Pokémon GO and Call of Duty: Mobile required 33 days and 106 days, respectively.
