According to a 2021 survey of smartphone users in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, around 18 percent of respondents reported to always refusing app permissions. By comparison, only nine percent of the surveyed smartphone users reported not denying or restricting app permission to access their data at all. Approximately two in 10 respondents reported refusing app permission requests more than half of the times they are prompted by one.
