Out of the 150 seats in the Dutch national parliament, 58 seats were filled with euro-pragmatist parties (which include VVD, CDA, 50PLUS, CU and DENK) in 2021. This was 6 less than the previous election in 2017. 27 seats were filled by Euro-federalist parties (D66 and Volt) and 18 were filled by Pro-European parties (PvdA, GL and BIJ1), adding up to 45 seats that are clearly in favor of the European Union. A further 22 seats were filled by soft Eurosceptic parties (SGP, SP, PvdD, BBB and Ja21) whilst 25 were filled with hard Eurosceptic parties (FvD and PVV), adding up to 47 seats filled with parties sceptical of the European Union.
