In 2021, roughly 30 percent of consumers in the United States were less inclined to trust a brand which had been endorsed by a celebrity or had a consumer rating of 3.7 out of five. Many U.S. consumers also trusted brands less if they claimed to be the world's best or have the best possible price anywhere.
