Garment workers key figures in Asia 2019
According to data estimates released by the International Labour Organization, there were 65 million garment workers in Asia in 2019, and this number represented 75 percent of garment workers worldwide. 35 million of these garment workers were women, and garment employment consituted 5.2 percent of all working women in the region.
