According to a December 2020 survey in Canada, a majority of respondents, roughly 31 percent, stated that they thought it would take six more months for live sporting events to return in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Meanwhile, around three percent of industry experts predicted it would take two more years for live sports to return.
