According to the results of a survey done among affluent and high net worth individuals in the first quarter of 2024, 44 percent of respondents aged 40 and over in North America had made multiple purchases of luxury leather goods (e.g. handbags, wallets, briefcases) in the past year. A higher share of 55 percent of younger resspondents had displayed this shopping behaviour.
