The source adds the following information: "Idealo.fr compared the average price of the 50 most popular products from the 20 most popular categories on its site during the 2021 winter sale (January 20 to February 9, 2021) and one month before the sales (December 23, 2020 to January 19, 2021). The site used the same procedure to calculate the price difference during vs. before the 2020 winter sales."
