According to a survey on mobile apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2021, approximately 65 percent of respondents in Vietnam did not purchase any smartphone applications because the free version offered everything they needed. The source also revealed that 48 percent of surveyed users had purchased a mobile app, primarily out of necessity.
