According to a survey on mobile apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2021, approximately 47 percent of respondents in Vietnam purchased a smartphone app out of necessity. In comparison, over one-fourth of surveyed users bought the app for exclusive paid features not provided in the free version.
