Access to clean cooking in Angola reflected an annual increase from 2012 onwards, reaching a peak in 2019. That year, roughly 50 percent of the country's population used cooking fuels and technologies considered clean. Measured against the clean cooking access rate in Africa, Angola ranked far above the continent average.
