
Distribution of live streaming viewing hours on leading global platforms Q3 2021
In the third quarter of 2021, mid-tier influencers with an average of 500 to 5,000 viewers per live stream generated approximtaly 40 percent of live stream viewership hours across Twitch, YouTube Gaming and Facebook Gaming. Overall, micro influencers produced 27 percent of viewing hours whilst mega influencers (with over 25,000 average viewers) generated ten percent. The total amount of gaming livestreaming hours watched in the third quarter of 2021 was 7.4 billion.
