The price was the leading factor influencing online purchases in Japan as revealed in a survey conducted in September 2021. Over 81 percent of male and 78.5 percent of female respondents stated to pay attention to the pricing when buying products online. Additionally, women would more likely compare prices between online and in-store retailers, with more than 40 percent.
