Highest level of education completed in Africa 2016-2018
Between 2016 and 2018, 37 percent of adults surveyed in Africa declared having completed secondary school as the highest education level. On average, 15 percent of respondents had attended post-secondary institutions. On the other hand, 28 percent of African adults had completed primary school, while 20 percent had had no formal education.
