Perception of safety walking alone at night in selected Latin American countries 2020
As of 2020, nearly half of adults in both Brazil and Dominican Republic did not feel safe when walking alone at night. Due to this feeling of unsafety, widespread in many Latin American countries, nearly 30 percent of Colombian women never go out alone at night.
