Both global and national economies were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout summer 2021, sentiments about economic improvement were pretty high with 81 percent of the respondents expecting global economy to improve in the next six months. In the following surveys, these expectations gradually lowered, with only 64 and 63 percent of respondents expecting economic recovery on a global scale as of October 2021.
