According to a survey on food services and cloud kitchen conducted by Rakuten Insight on August 2021, approximately 60 percent of Thai respondents aged between 16 to 24 years stated that they ordered food from a virtual restaurant or cloud kitchen-only business because the menu on offer sounded and looked delicious. Meanwhile, about 47 percent of respondents who are 55 years old and older responded that they ordered from such businesses because they wanted to try something new.
