As of 2021, more than one third of countries around the world were considered to be at high risk of climate change impacts, based on greenhouse gas emissions, change in temperatures, and EPI score. The study also found that roughly half of global countries face a medium risk, with only 16.2 percent of countries at low risk.

The study was conducted by Investment Monitor, based on data from Yale.edu. Climate Watch Data, and the World Bank.
According to the source, the scores are based on greenhouse gas emissions, change in temperatures, and Environmental Performance Index (EPI) score.
