Current account balance as a share of GDP in Mauritania 2018-2022
In 2021, the current account balance in Mauritania was projected at minus 14.3 percent of the continent’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This represented an improvement compared to the previous year when the account balance in the country stood at around minus 18 percent of the GDP. Further economic recovery was projected by 2022.
