Current account balance as a share of GDP in Algeria 2018-2022
In 2021, the current account balance in Algeria was projected at minus 13.8 percent of the continent’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This represented a slight improvement compared to the previous year when the account balance in the country stood at minus 14.8 percent of the GDP. Further economic recovery was projected by 2022.
