Current account balance as a share of GDP in Libya 2018-2022
In 2021, the current account balance in Libya was projected at 31.2 percent of the continent’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This represented a significant improvement compared to the previous year when the account balance in the country stood at nearly minus 60 percent of the GDP. Further economic recovery was projected by 2022.
