The transition from the DVB-T standard broadcasting signal to the DVB-T2/HEVC signal in Poland will occur in the second quarter of 2022.
According to the source, over two million Polish households may lose access to digital terrestrial television. The inhabitants of the Lubuskie voivodeship are the least prepared for the new standard transition (25 percent). At the same time, the Opolskie region has the highest share of households ready for the new DVB-T2/HEVC broadcasting.
