Percentage of employed working from home Netherlands 2013-2022, by number of children

In 2013 and 2014, employees in the Netherlands worked at home a similar amount regardless of the amont of children they had, ranging between 12 and 17 percent. This changed drastically in 2015 following the introduction of a flexible working law, as the percentage of employees working from home significantly increased, most so for employees with two and three or more children at 42.2 and 45.1 respectively, while those with no children and one child increased to 32.4 and 36.2 respectively. This gap widened in 2022, with employees with no children and one child working at home 46.3 and 47.2 percent respectively and people with two and three or more children working at home 58 and 59 percent respectively.
