As a consequence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, many households had to work from home, which is apparent in this survey data from the Netherlands. Before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic at the bginning of March, approximately 30.2 hours per week were worked in the office, whilst 3.8 hours were worked at home. This changed drastically by April, as by then 13.1 hours per week were worked from the office and 14.6 hours from home. Later that year in December, more people were working from the office again with 17.1 hours worked at the office and 12.1 hours worked at home.
