Uninstall rate of non-gaming app categories in the U.S. 2024, by install type
Between August and September 2024, social media apps in the United States saw uninstall rates of approximately 67 percent within 30 days after a non-organic install. Business applications reported uninstall rates of almost 58.52 percent when being downloaded after interacting with an advert. Sports apps saw the lowest uninstall rate, with only around 38 percent uninstalls within 30 days via organic downloads. Uninstall rates across the examined categories were higher in the case of non-organic installs during the examined period.
