In a survey conducted in 2021 in the United States, a majority of respondents, 48 percent, stated that they felt face masks should be required for all attendants of outdoor sporting events, regardless of vaccination status. Meanwhile, 29 percent of respondents felt that masks should not be required for anyone at outdoor sporting events.
