According to a 2021 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea, around 42 percent of respondents stated that they had previously ordered food from a ghost or cloud kitchen. An equal amounted stated that they had not done so, while the rest were uncertain.

Original question: "Have you ordered food from a virtual restaurant or cloud kitchen-only business? (i.e. the business does not have a dine-in space and only operates through food delivery apps and cooks its food in a cloud kitchen space)"
So-called ghost kitchens or cloud kitchens refer to professional cooking establishments that focus solely on preparing delivery-only food, with no options to eat in.
