Typhoon Yolanda, which occurred in November 2013, was the most devastating typhoon in the Philippines in terms of the total value of damages. Damages caused by the typhoon reached about 95.48 billion Philippine pesos. With the international name Haiyan, this was also the costliest typhoon that has ever occurred in the country since 1990.
