According to a survey of Swedish internet users conducted between the end of January and February 2022, consuming YouTube content for entertainment and fun was the leading activity on the video platform among children aged between eight and 19. Approximately 49 percent of YouTube users in the examined age group reported using the platform to watch music videos or listening to music. Only six percent of respondents reported creating and uploading their own videos.
