According to a 2021 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea, around 57 percent of female respondents stated that they would discontinue using mobile apps to order delivery food as they wanted to reduce their expenses. This was also the most common reason given by male respondents. Other commonly stated reasons were missing the experience of dining out and negative experiences with the quality of the delivered food.
