In the 2023 Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales period in Australia, 64 percent of Generation Z indicated in a survey that they would be making purchases during the holiday sales period. Baby Boomers showed a much lower intention to participate, with just over 20 percent of the Baby Boomer respondents indicating they would participate in the sales.
