Approach to adopting digital techologies at SMEs in the Netherlands 2020
When decision-makers at SMEs in the Netherlands in 2020 were asked what their approach was to the adoption of digital technologies, the most chosen option was that their enterprise had adopted basic technology such as email or a website, but not yet advanced digital technology with 38 percent. A further 32 percent answered that their enterprise is in need of advanced digital technologies and had already started to introduce them, while only 5 percent stated that a lack of knowledge, skills, or financing was a barrier to introducing advanced digital technologies.
