At mid-year 2020, Argentina was the Latin American country with the largest number of inmigrants coming from Latin American and Caribbean nations, as the volume of such immigrants went up to nearly 1.9 million. However, there were only 331,630 Argentinian emigrants from the country. It was followed by Colombia as the main country of destination of Latin American and Caribbean immigrants. The vast majority of those foreign residents in Colombia came from Venezuela. While Haiti did not attract many inmigrants, it was the second most common country of origin of regional emigrants, with more than 868,400 Haitians having emigrated.
