A survey conducted in 2021 in the United States indicated the three most important factors for online sales platforms to remain competitive. Roughly half of B2B sellers believed that ease of use was a key factor. Another 45 percent thought B2B sellers should be easy to find online, while providing more detailed online information about sellers was a relevant feature for 34 percent of respondents.

Buyer respondents from following sectors: government (50 respondents), education (50 respondents), healthcare (50 respondents), and commercial industries (100 respondents). All buyers’ organizations made an annual revenue of more than 25 million U.S. dollars.
