Animal welfare perspectives of the UK consumers 2020
When asked what terms they associated with higher animal welfare standards, 53 percent of adults in the United Kingdom cited free range as an indication of animal welfare. This was the most commonly chosen response. Less than half of the respondents chose outdoor rearing, organic, and outdoor breeding as terms they associate with higher animal welfare standards.
