Attitudes towards refugees in Poland 2015-2021
Poles' attitudes toward accepting refugees vary and are more often reluctant than favorable. For example, in September 2021, nearly half of respondents disapproved of Poland accepting refugees from countries in armed conflict, while two-fifths were in favor - with the majority of this group (33 percent) believing that Poland should shelter refugees until they can return to their own country. In contrast, about one-tenth approved of them settling in Poland.
