Contribution of travel and tourism to GDP in Madagascar 2019-2020
Travel and tourism contributed 4.4 percent to Madagascar's GDP in 2020, which totaled to over 590 million U.S. dollars. Compared to 2019, the contribution of travel and tourism to the country's economy experienced a significant drop. That year, the industry generated 12.7 percent of the country's GDP.
