A June 2021 report investigated the most popular ways respondents believed women could be involved in to support women's professional sports in North America. In Canada, 40 percent of survey participants answered that women should attend games as fans to show support. Meanwhile, 55 percent of respondents from Mexico were of the opinion that supporters should post on social media about women's games. The most popular way to show support in the United States was recognized as investing in women's teams as owners, with 40 percent of participants highlighting the importance of this approach.
