In 2022, the United Kingdom and Ghana were the most common destinations of tourists from Nigeria, accounting for 32 percent and 17 percent of the departures that year, respectively. United States, Saudi Arabia, and France followed. Overall, in 2021, inbound tourist expenditure in the country decreased compared to the preceding year.
