Animal welfare and hormone free meat are the two most important factors when evaluating meat production according to consumers in the European Union. All factors are found important by more than 35 percent of respondents. How traceable a meat product is is the least important factor, with a 36 percent rating.

Consumer research agency Two Ears One Mouth conducted the study of more than 11.000 consumers across nine EU markets.
