The carbon dioxide emissions of NatWest Group dropped markedly between 2019 and 2023. The emissions decreased in all scopes, but the difference was especially clear in scope 2 and scope 3 emissions. In scope 3 category, emissions dropped from around 108,900 metric tons in 2019 down to around 66,000 metric tons in 2023.
