Demand for industrial and logistic warehouse space in Poland 2019-2020
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic crisis has not slowed down demand for warehouse and industrial space. On the contrary, thanks to the growing importance of the e-commerce market, large grocery chains, logistics, and the Courier, Express and Parcel (CEP) industry, gross demand set a record by exceeding 5.2 million square meters. It was 27 percent higher than the previous year. According to the source, demand in 2020 was 22 percent higher than the last record in 2017.
