Educational attainment among women in Norway in 2011-2023
In 2023, the share of women between 15 and 64 years of age with a tertiary education in Norway increased from 2011, from 42 percent to almost 48 percent with tertiary education. Moreover, around 29 percent of the women in Norway had an upper secondary education, whereas approximately 23 percent had only a primary or lower secondary education. The share of people with a tertiary education in Norway has increased over the last 10 years.
