In a survey conducted with over 2,000 individuals in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2023, over half of shoppers said their main reason for shopping during the Black Friday period was to buy Christmas presents for loved ones. For over one third of those surveyed, spontaneous deal-grabbing was the leading motivation.
