As of 2019, 80 percent of children in Cameroon had received bacille Calmette-Guerin, the vaccine against tuberculosis. A coverage of over 70 percent was also observed for tetanus vaccine and DTP-containing vaccines. Children who received the first dose of measles-containing vaccine were 60 percent, one of the lowest rates among the different vaccines taken into consideration.
