A January 2021 survey evaluated the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on domestic business trips in the United Kingdom. According to the study, 43 percent of surveyed employees used the car for work-related trips within the UK after March 2020, while 29 percent of respondents did the same over the 12 months prior to the outbreak of the pandemic. In contrast, the share of employees taking flights for domestic business trips decreased after the health crisis.
