The yield on two-year bonds issued by the Australian Government has declined sharply between 2010 and 2021. From a peak of 5.11 percent in December 2010, two-year bond yields fell to a low of 0.02 percent in August 2021. However, since then, the yields have increased, reaching 4.11 percent in May 2024.
