During the third quarter of 2021, mobile gamers in Europe spent over 2.7 billion U.S. dollars on mobile gaming applications on Google Play and App Store combined. From the two online stores, Google Play was the one where consumers spent more. In the examined period, consumer spending in Europe increased, going from 1.4 billion to 1.6 billion U.S. dollars on Google Play. Mobile gamers spent 10 percent more on the App Store in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
