With less than six months before the French presidential elections, the opinions of the almost-candidate Eric Zemmour are flooding the media scene, and concerns about the polemicist's assenscion are multiplying. For more than twenty years, Zemmour has propagated misogynistic statements: from the publication of his book "Le Premier sexe" in 2006, in which he denounces an excessive feminization of society, to his nostalgia for white and heterosexual patriarchal power, through his defense of Dominique Strauss-Kahn and Tariq Ramadan, the prospect of the election of the polemicist is enough to frighten many. According to a survey conducted in October 2021, four out of five women among executives and higher intellectual professions are concerned about women's rights in case of Eric Zemmour's election. This proportion rises to 69 percent among the intermediate professions, and to 59 percent among employees.
