In France, the presidential elections will take place in April 2022, and for many women, the defense of women's rights and the fight against sexism is a determining issue in the vote. This is particularly the case among younger women (86 percent), who were more widely mobilized after #MeToo than their elders. Women between 35 and 64 years old are those for whom this issue seems to have the least impact.
Overall, women satisfied with the current government's action on women's rights were in the minority.
